A 5-song demo was recorded in 2003 by the band for pre-production and arranging purposes only. After gathering budget to buy equipment and get to a recording studio, Verdict recorded 8 songs (total time: 50 minutes approx.). The recording process started in February of 2004 and finished in May. The mixing process was something of an endless procedure as it was done three times, in three separate studios and by three different mixing engineers, with the last one being the official, when Jeff Waters of Annihilator Fame took over and offered to mix the album at his Watersound Studios in May 2005. Meanwhile, the band took note of a significant number of bands with the same name, which led to a new name…. Verdict Denied. In the following years, Verdict Denied started negotiations with respective labels of the genre and ended up signing with Secret Port Records.
The album was released in November of 2009 and is entitled "Condamned"

By 2010, the band had built their own home studio and rehearsal place, which was a long learning process. In the meantime, the line-up had to change once more and new troops came on board. Verdict Denied started working on their most ambitious project to date which is a concept album with a musical direction that looked as a quantum leap compared to the band’s previous material. A pre-production demo was recorded as part of the songwriting process. Right then, Secret Port Records offered to release an EP titled “…State To End All Terror…” to prepare the ground for the band’s 2nd full length album. The EP will hit the stores this fall.
